Access to OBS Equipment

  • The national fleet of OBS equipment is is hosted at Geoscience Australia.

  • The equipment has been developed through investment from AuScope AGOS funding.

  • Scientific Coordinator: Dr Alexey Goncharov ( Alexey.Goncharov@ga.gov.au)

Special requirements

  • Users of the OBS equipment will need to ensure that that they are able to support trained technical personnel, and to have scientific personnel with prior OBS experience.
  • Ship-time is the responsibility of the proponents of experiments
