Welcome to iEarth
iEarth is a consortium of scientists from the university, government and industry sectors with interests in the development and application of inversion methodologies for the Earth Sciences. iEarth is intended as a platform for the exchange of ideas, a portal to inverse modeling resources and an opportunity to connect researchers and practitioners.
iEarth will build on the synergy of geophysics, applied mathematics, computer sciences, physics, chemistry and geology. Our aim is to link the classically disparate disciplines and enable new science based on robust approaches to quantitative inference. To facilitate the move of the Geosciences from empiricism to quantitative inference allowing data driven predictive modeling.
